Continuing to learn and develop new skills and ideas is always important, not only to business owners but their employees. WLDEF helps members enhance their knowledge & skills by providing financial assistance grants to attend BLD Connection Roundtables and LumberTech classes. WLDEF also sponsors industry educational events like the annual Wisconsin Lumber Dealers Leadership Conference.

The LumberTech program offers training for all areas of the retail lumber operation including yard & delivery, sales, estimating, and management. WLDEF provides financial assistance of up to 50% of the registration fee for members attending LumberTech classes.

You can learn a lot from your peers, that is why WLDEF would like to help members participate in theBLD Connection roundtables by offering an annual grant of $500 per company to help off-set the registration cost.

WLDEF is also offering a $250 grant per company for any member that participates in BLD Connection Virtual Roundtable.

To be a member of the WLDEF you must be a retailer or supplier of lumber or building materials that resides in Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula of Michigan and is a member in good standing with BLD Connection.
