Each year, the WLDEF board awards scholarships for post-secondary educational opportunities for persons pursuing a career that centers on or supports the lumber and building materials industry, the building trades or small business management.
2026-2027 Scholarships
The Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Lumber Dealers Education Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year. Scholarship applications are due to the WLDEF office by March 1, 2026.
Up to $4,000 in scholarship awards available.
Eligibility Requirements for Student Scholarships
- Applicant must live in Wisconsin or Upper Michigan.
- Applicant must be pursuing a career that centers on or supports the lumber and building materials industry, the building trades, or small business management.
- Applicant must have applied to or been accepted by an accredited higher education institution or accredited vocational school.
- Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent by August 31, 2026.
Awards are contingent upon verification of enrollment at an eligible institution. Previous scholarship applicants are encouraged to reapply.
